noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!
I arrived in Solana Beach yesterday. A very nice town between I-5 and the Pacific Ocean, just north of San Diego. I wish I could afford to live here. Hot, hot, hot.
Anyway, I turn on the TV and there is Erik Estrada trying to sell property in Washington. Ocean Shores to be exact. That motherf****r. I want to buy property down there!

The Grand Canyon (part deux)
Now that the Park Service charges $20 to visit the Canyon, I decided to visit the South Rim. So many pictures, so little time. Flagstaff is a nice area. It sits at 8,000 feet in the mountains. I had a wonderful view out of my hotel window of the highest peak in Arizona.
Around here, a 12,000 foot peak only looks like a 4,000 foot hill. Out on the coast, the mountains are much more spectacular, however, there aren’t any roads at 8,000 feet.
When I returned, I met up with “nobody” from the Wyldryde IRC network. We went out for a bite to eat at the Galaxy Diner. What a crazy place.

plan of the day (or two)
Yesterday, I saw my dad for the first time in ten years. Although he was a bit fatigued from the treatments, he was in command of his faculties and cognizant of his surroundings.
Tyler, if you need anything, do not hesistate to call.
Now, I am off to Flagstaff for two days while I tour the south side of the Grand Canyon.
I stayed at the Hawthorne Inn in Henderson last night. I had wonderful view of the sunset over Las Vegas. If you have never been here, get here. The new hotels are incredible. I do know what big is, I have worked 75 story towers and aircraft carriers. Childs play compared to this. Just plain awesome.
Of all the wi-fi networks I’ve seen, only one has had any sort of encryption. The rest are wide open. Maybe I should change my workgroup back to MSHOME.
Oh, and I think I have seen enough rocks, dust, and scrub brush for a lifetime. I miss the sea.

Viva Las Vegas
I probably shouldn’t watch “Breaking Vegas”, sitting here just two hours away. Sometimes I have too much time on my hands.
I put up some more shots from The North Rim.
