stupid…stupid…stupid
It’s kind of ironic.
We are in the process of setting restrictions on the use of the time clocks. Working in one part of the yard means you use a particular time clock. The place I work at is about two miles from end to end. And with 134 people to keep track of, things can get out of hand in a hurry.
I was talking to one of the swing shift craft supervisors about the policy when he makes the joke, “does that include the PIA people?” I gave him the WTF look. He tells me that there are PIA people clocking out here at night. OH FUCK!!!!! The PIA project is 30% over budget, and the Manager want’s BLOOD.
Sure enough, I am standing there when this guy comes up and scans to see his hours for the week. I noted his name, watched him clock-out, and then I proceded to e-mail his boss and HIS boss.
Tomorrow morning I’m gonna e-mail the Manager.
I should do it from the PIA office so I can actually SEE the fireworks.

if you can see this…
I have successfully transferred teh site to Fedora Core 4.
Apache 2.0.54, php 5.0.4, mysql 4.1.11, WordPress 1.5.1.3, and Coppermine 1.3.3.
Now if I can find a content management system that isn’t swiss cheese, has decent community support, and is easy to use.
I’m screwed.
