College Bowlcard 2007 Final
I sucked. Worse than a black hole. My final score was 10-22.
Good enough for dead last.

College Bowlcard 2007 pt 1
There are 32 college bowl games this year with eleven dudes vying for the title. As usual I have gone against popular opinion. I have 5 games on my own, and in 5 other games I stand with someone. At this point I am 4-2, with East Carolina beating Boise State with a last second field goal. Everyone else had Boise State. NOOOBS.
One of my teams, Florida State University, has suspended 34 players for cheating on a final exam.
kthx >:

Battlefield 2142…
Here are some screenies from the game. I have included some from the demo and beta.
I did not have any trouble with the install, the zero-day patch, or logging in. I have not been kicked due to pb or the master server. The game runs fair on my aging system. In single player, with 32 bots in the mix, it will start to lag. I had the same experience with bf2, btw. The online bit has it’s issues, once logged into a server, I didn’y encounter any difficulty. I didn’t see the IGA as that noticeable and some of the billboards were fictitious. Although, one real sponsor in a map does give the impression of corporate domination.
This “game” feels more like a mod. Although, most mods don’t suck $50 outta your wallet. I didn’t get bf Vietnam due to this. 2142 does add a new gameplay mode with “Titan”. This is only available online, I expect more than the usual newbish behavior as people learn the strategy and tactics.
I am not a fan of this whole “ranked server” thing. I don’t think I should have to pay an extortion fee to enable stat tracking on my server. EA, just look at the way Counter Strike is kicking your ass. Easily four or five times as many people online at any given time. And 10 times as many servers. I should put a Desert Combat server back up just to spite you!!!!

grand opening…
After spending many hours reading the detailed documentation, I have decided to open the #games channel on the Wyldryde IRC network.
Enemy Territory is free, and easy on older equipment. Download and install E.T. v2.6, and ET Pro v3.2.4.
Unreal Tournament 2004, on the other hand, will require a bit more recent hardware. Grab the Mega Bonus Pack (contains the latest patch), Community Bonus Pack Two Volumes 1 & 2, and, make sure that you are patched up to v3369.
Now for the other 3mbps connection. : )
