I was up early this morning for no particular reason. I looked out to the west for the full moon but the clouds were obscuring it. As I was having my coffee, I noticed a bit of orange start to appear in the clouds off to the east.

I packed up my gear and headed off to Bachmann Park for a nice easterly view. While I was driving down there I spotted the Olympics bathed in a nice orange/magenta light. I quickly pulled a U-turn and parked below the Warren Avenue Bridge. Swapped out the 70-200 for the 24-70 and hiked up to the western walkway.

This scene lasted for about 20 minutes. I had to keep the aperture open due to the shaking of the bridge and railing whenever a vehicle drove by.
