I used to play a lot of softball down at Lion’s Park in my younger years. Even back then the park was getting a bit dated. Recently, the city of Bremerton embarked on a redesign and refurbishment of the park. This is the outcome.

It was a fair June day down at Illahee State Park. A storm had just passed through and the clouds were separating. Someone on a live-aboard sailboat was berthed at the dock. There wasn’t much color in the scene which made a great candidate for a black and white conversion.
There is a park at the ‘hook’ of Hood Canal that looks south, Rendsland Oyster Park and Kayak Launch. It is a very remote county park. I was down there a low tide, which is what I prefer as it adds a more interesting foreground. Fortunately there were some clouds for the background. The driftwood…
